Luggage Store in Tel Aviv

RUDI is a luggage and leather goods store at HaMered 29, Tel Aviv, open since 1984. We are the official Samsonite and American Tourister importer in Israel and the exclusive importer of Old Angler, the leather workshop in Florence. The showroom is about half a dunam, some 500 square metres, with more than 3,500 items in stock.

Where we are

HaMered 29, Tel Aviv, inside the Beit HaTaasia building. It is a ten minute walk from the Neve Tzedek end of the beach promenade and a few minutes from the Azrieli towers. There is parking directly across the street, and the building car park opens up after 3pm.

Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 to 18:00. Friday, 9:00 to 16:00. Closed Saturday.

What you will find

Suitcases

Samsonite and American Tourister across the full size range, from 55 cm cabin trolleys up to 84 cm. Hard shell and soft, cabin sets and family sets. Everything is original and sealed in its factory box, and the warranty is registered in your name and honoured in Israel.

Italian leather

Old Angler of Florence, which we import exclusively: briefcases, messenger bags, backpacks, weekend bags, wallets and belts, all vegetable tanned full grain leather made by hand.

Engraving while you wait

We have a laser and gold foil engraving studio inside the store. Names, initials, dates, a line of handwriting or a photograph, onto wallets, belts, notebooks and luggage tags. You approve a proof before we press the button.

If you are visiting Israel

Travellers come to us for three things. A replacement when a case is damaged in transit, because we hold the stock in the building rather than in a warehouse. A gift that is actually made here or in Italy and can be personalised in an hour. And advice in plain English about what will survive the next twenty flights.

If your Samsonite or American Tourister case was bought abroad and needs a wheel, a handle or a lock, the manufacturer’s authorised service centre in Israel handles it with original parts, and we will point you straight to them. Leather repairs we do ourselves, here at HaMered 29, with parts from the Italian factory.
